Alberta Birds of Prey CentreThe Alberta Birds of Prey Centre is Canada’s largest birds of prey facility. Situated on a 70-acre wetland area in Coaldale, the centre features hawks, falcons, eagles and owls of Alberta with a focus on rehabilitating and releasing injured birds of prey back into the wild. http://www.burrowingowl.com/

Gem of the West MuseumThe Gem of the West Museum provides visitors with a look back at the history of Coaldale and area. The museum also provides a unique setting for community and private events with 15,000 sq ft and a grand piano on site. Community CentreThe Coaldale Community Centre is a spacious wheelchair accessible 2,000-square-foot facility with enough rectangular tables and chairs to accommodate 200 people. There’s also a separate bar area and updated kitchen to meet the needs of any function. The facility includes a PA system, cooler, fridge, ice machine, microwave, two stoves, dishes/flatware, for 200 people, and coffee urns.

Kin Picnic ShelterThis outdoor facility, located near the Alberta Birds of Prey Centre, is the ideal location for any outdoor event. The Shelter offers a full kitchen, a 78-inch gas BBQ and two serving windows. The 2,400-square-foot patio is a wonderful location for your guests to escape the sun and if you're chilly, the indoor fireplace or outdoor fire pit is sure to warm you up.

Public LibraryThe Coaldale Public Library located at 2014 - 18th Street has been serving the residents of Coaldale and surrounding area since 1945 and has undergone several expansions to meet the ever changing needs of the community. Coaldale Health CentreThe Coaldale Health Centre located at 2100 - 11th Street provides the community with a variety of non-emergency services. Some of the services available include diagnostic imaging, laboratory services, occupational therapy, physiotherapy, public health and continuing care services.


Government & Business

Town of CoaldaleCoaldale is located just a few minutes east of Lethbridge. The community is experiencing significant residential, commercial and industrial growth.  In 2019 Coaldale celebrates it's 100th birthday with events planned throughout the year leading up to the December 27, 2019 anniversary date.  http://www.coaldale.ca

Coaldale Chamber of CommerceThe Chamber of Commerce provides an environment for networking which allows business members to ensure that they meet and expand their business contacts to help the business grow. Lodging & DiningLocated on the east end of town just off highway 3 is the newly renovated Coaldale Inn providing lodging, a restaurant and pub. Coaldale has several excellent restaurants to try throughout town, some of which have been a part of the community for decades. Be sure to try them all!

ShoppingTake a walk down main street and you will find a variety of small shops worth checking out. In addition to the small shops you will find a bargain shop, a deli a grocery store and an amazing bakery.


Recreation

Coaldale PoolLooking for the perfect escape from the heat in the summer? Look no further than Coaldale's outdoor swimming pool. They offer public and family swim times as well as fitness classes and swim lessons. A private gazebo can also be booked for special occasions. Tot Lot & Spray ParkThe Spray Park is almost 4000 square feet and includes an enclosed wading pool with fountains and deck jets. Surrounded by playgrounds, picnic tables, tall trees and plenty of green space, the park is the perfect gathering place for families and children. Located at 2211 – 16th Street. Open daily during the summer months.

Coaldale SportsplexCoaldale’s Sportsplex is the ‘go-to’ spot for tournaments, public skating, games and practices. The arena boasts state-of-the-art dressing rooms and a new refrigeration plant, promising to be a Coaldale mainstay for years to come.

Coaldale Curling RinkThe Curling Rink is home to the Coaldale Granite Club, a local organization dedicated to providing programming for all ages and skill levels. The curling facility is one of the few recreational and social facilities in Town capable of accommodating users of all ages in fall and winter.

Kin Skate ParkInto skateboarding or biking? Be sure to check out Kin Skate Park. This is the spot to try (or watch others trying) the latest board tricks. For young children there’s a separate playground area, making Kin Skate Park an inviting place for the whole family. Located at 2310-22 Avenue.

The QuadsLocated in the Southeast corner of the community, the Quads offer a variety of sports fields including a football field, soccer pitches and ball diamonds.
